Academically, I am a member of the National Honor Society based on my character, leadership, and scholastic achievements. Prior to that I was the Vice President of the National Junior Honor Society. Due to academic pressure of all AP courses and my leadership position to band and winterguard, I chose not to hold a leadership position in National Honor Society. However, I am actively involved in volunteering with the club activities such as the Special Olympics and community beautification efforts such as roadside cleanup. I am also a member of Mu Alpha Theta which involves tutoring students in lower math classes such as Algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus that need assistance. Additionally, I am an active member of the political science club and enjoy educating myself more on the current political landscape.
