• I attended school in India up till seventh grade and then moved to the United States of America.
• I am currently a high school Senior.
• I took Advanced placement classes such as English language and composition, English literature and composition and Spanish language and culture among other classes.
• I have taken COMM 301 and HUM 301 as an advanced student at Cosumnes River College.
Awards
• I have received Academic awards for earning a 3.9-4.0 GPA for every quarter of middle school and high school.
• I also gained a student-athletic award, because I was able to maintain a GPA of 3.6 and up while playing for the Junior Varsity Basketball ten.

• I also won an award for performing Bhangra, a type of traditional dance of the Indian subcontinent.

I helped to make a fashion club at Elk Grove High School and became the secretary of this club. We were able to connect our club to FIDM, which helped many students in gaining scholarships if they wanted to continue with their passion for fashion.

• Summar Lunch Program at Elk Grove Library- provided free lunch to kids of age 1-18 during summer. In addition, I handed them free books and introduced them to the clubs and reading programs that took place in the library.
• Homework Zone- I have been helping children and some times college students with their homework since my freshman year of high school in the local library.

I am part of the School Site council and student leadership, thus I help improve the experience of high school at our school and help make our school a safe place for everyone.
I am also part of Link Crew- I help the incoming freshman class understand our traditions. I become friends with them so that on their first day they would have someone to go up to if they had any questions without hesitation.
