  • Additional Info As a high school student athlete in a small, private all-girls school, there was a lack of emphasis on awards for the sports offered. However, in my elementary and middle school years, I was part of a CYO swim team and often won many awards each season. Additionally, my family would make day trips to nearby ski mountains, when it was financially feasible. if it weren't for my parents, I would not have discovered how passionate I am for winter sports. I taught myself how to figure skate from learning how to ski, since we could never afford actual lessons. I always leaped when given the opportunity to try out new sports in summer camps or community clubs, such as lacrosse, boxing, archery, and sailing. Truthfully, my favorite category of sports are water-related amongst all the ones that I've learned and tried, are swimming, surfing, and sailing. I look forward to a future lifestyle where I could enjoy these three.
