I plan to work with teens struggling with substance abuse or addiction. I am motivated and passionate about this field due to the loss of my brother to an addiction.

Employment History
• I currently work for a residential treatment center for children ages 11-17. I am gaining knowledge of children with trauma, behavioral disorders, and/or substance abuse. I work side by side with therapists to develop treatment plans for these children while ensuring their safety at our facility.
• I worked my way up starting as a server to becoming the dining manager of a local restaurant. I dealt with customer relations, scheduling of 100 employees, and gained problem-solving skills in challenging situations.

I have volunteered in hospitals for mental health as well as a middle school to assist in tutoring of the children.
