Education History
I have been, and still am currently taking, a course called AVID (advanced via individual determineation). By taking this class, it motivates me to take AP, Honors, Accelerated, or higher achieving classes. One of which I am taking this year which is Accelerated Algebra II. Also 9th grade was my worst year, and as I began AVID, it has helped me to bring my grades up to A's and B's and just sliding by with one C.

There is a program that I am participating in called Dollars for Scholars, this program takes me and a few other friends to multiple college tours, and if I go to all of these field trips for all of my high school career without dropping out, then I receive some form of a grant/scholarship toward college.

Community Service
History
I volunteered to help refurbish a home from my uncles' friend's daughters' house. I assisted in installing a sink, a toilet, and copper pripes; and I had done: measurements, cut wood, put up cabinets, tore out old cabinets and walls, installed drywall, cut out a block of concrete, sanded down the walls, and painted.
