In 2017, I drastically transformed my life. By age 30 I was obese, heavily addicted to cigarettes, unemployed, uneducated and unmotivated. I took the initiative to completely turn my life around without aid, and within 7 months I'd lost 80 lbs, quit smoking, competed in several athletic events and began a new scholarly journey.
