Employment History
•Kids Adventure Program Director for The Overland Expo, 2014-present (paid 2016-present)
• Developed the Junior Overland Explorer Program. At each semiannual Overland Expo, children can earn a Junior Overland Explorer patch and additional skill based rocker patches. This program was inspired by the National Park Service Junior Ranger Program.
• Developed the idea of a “by kids, for kids” program. This includes recruiting other kid instructors to fill 20 hours of kid and family programming for each event.
• In 2018 developed the Kids Expedition Skills Area. This included coordinating 50 kids building a bridge out of logs, that a Ural motorcycle and sidecar drove over.
• Manage and schedule 20 hours of programming with both the kid and adult instructors for the kid and family programming.
• Office Worker for The Overland Expo 2015-2018
• Basic bookkeeping which included entering cash sales into spreadsheets
• Organizing and name tags for all vendors, attendees and instructors. This included matching name tags with appropriate entrance, meal and drink tickets.
