Education History
My education history is quite peculiar. It all started when I graduated from middle school. I decided to leave the United States and enter an immersion program in France. I ended up living with a French host family in a small village near the city of Tours for ten months. I participated in a FLE immersion program and was awarded at the end of the year a certificate of a B1 level of French from the French Ministry of Education. Afterwards, I returned to the United States where I completed my ninth-grade year in an online school. I then returned to France and lived in Paris for a month while attending French classes at EF education. I then went to Munich, Germany where I attended a German immersion program for two months. I sadly had to return to the United States due to health issues. I discovered I had liver disease and was in treatment for a few months. Once I finished the first part of my treatment and felt well enough to start classes again, I was enrolled in a one-to-one school in San Diego, CA (Fusion Academy) where I completed my tenth-grade "year" in three months. I then moved to Florence, Italy where I lived by myself in student housing for seven moths and attended a language immersion school for that duration of time. When I returned to San Diego, I was enrolled in an online school and completed my first semester of eleventh-grade. I then decided to transfer to a one-on-one school because I was having a hard time taking AP courses on an online system and realized that my education would be best benefited if I switched to a one-to-one school that gave me the flexibility to take the courses I wanted and keep the schedule I needed. I am now completing my second semester of eleventh-grade and taking my first semester of twelfth-grade classes.

As best as I could with my constantly changing living situation in the last four years, I have kept up with the majority of these activities. I hope that by knowing some general information in these different subject areas, I will be able to incorporate it into my career as a journalist.
