I attended West Des Moines Valley High School and graduated in 2019. I am now attending the University of Northern Iowa. I am academically a sophomore. I am studying communication disorders to become a speech-language pathologist.

I graduated high school in the top 15% of my class. I received two hometown scholarships for my first semester due to my grades.

I rely on scholarships, grants, and student loans to help me pay for college. I pay for my education without help from my parents.

I am a thespian. I attended the Iowa High School Musical Theatre Awards three years in a row. In high school, I received an honorable mention at the Burbs Art Show for a ceramic sculpture that I had made. I also receive a scholarship for my participation in speech at my university.

I work as a child care provider in the summer through Metro Kids, a day camp program through the Des Moines Public Schools System

My dream is to work as a speech-language pathologist in a school setting. Working with children that have special needs is my true passion.
