I am currently a senior attending Oswego High School in Illinois. Over the course of my high school career, I have taken multiple AP classes and have done well in them, earning me much recognition and a very high class rank (top 1%).

As well as taking some of the most rigorous and challenging courses my school has to offer me, I also take part in music. I play alto saxophone for the OHS Wind Symphony. In this band, we have gone to All-State, Superstate, and are in the running to be selected to attend Nationals for Concert Bands.

While I don't have as much time to partake in many extra curricular activities due to my rigorous and challenging academic schedule, I have many hobbies and have lots of interests I like to pursue in my free time like art and some more casual sports. I am a private music lesson instructor for beginning musicians for both the clarinet and the saxophone and I also have been taking music lessons with a professional musician once a week for the past four years.

In terms of actual employment, I currently work as a bather at a dog grooming establishment in Plainfield, Illinois.

History
I have mostly done volunteer work during the summer, including being selected to act as an assistant music instructor for beginner woodwind instruments for the past four years. I also have volunteer experience working at Oswego Animal hospital in the treatment wing of the hospital.

I am going to continue to be an assistant music instructor for beginning flute, clarinet, saxophone, and advanced concert band as I have done in past years.
