I took three week-long workshops in intensive character building, musical theater singing, and theatrical dance. I also was trained in how to build a performing arts resume.
Awards
National French Honor Society (2016-2018)
As a member of the National French Honor Society, I help enrich the French learning experience at Wheeler by providing a supplementary community to the classroom. I tutor other beginner French students. I also, help educate the community about Francophone culture through our international night.
National Academic Thespian (2017-2018)
As the V.P. of the National Thespian Honor Society, I extend students’ acting opportunities. For those who cannot act in a class show, I help cultivate a space where thespians can share their passion. I also lead in an effort to raise money for the drama department, runs shows, and go to big conventions like Thescon.

I have earned an academic letter for earning a 4.0 GPA in both Fall and Spring semesters my junior year of high school.
AP Scholar
I have earned AP Scholar status from the College board for my academic performance on college prep classes.
Wheeler Subject Award
I have earned two Wheeler Subject Awards for academic excellence, leadership, and honor. I was recommended by my teachers for the Theatre award and the AP Literature award.

H.O.P.E (2016-2018)
In the HoPe Club, our goal is to raise the graduation rate of the Latino and Hispanic population at Wheeler; by cultivating a loving, encouraging atmosphere where minorities can look up to peers and take opportunities to develop their leadership skills. I collaborate with the president to set the service goals for the year. I plan all the service events for the year; and I correspond with the Service Coordinator and the Regional Manager to work with other chapters in reaching our goals.
YELLS
After school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I volunteer at the YELLS community center in my neighborhood. It is a center for elementary to middle school students to go after school until their parents can pick them up. There, I help the students with their homework, practice reading skills, and play games.
Hands on Atlanta
With my HoPe troupe, I often work with Hands on Atlanta to volunteer at nonprofit events to promote the health and wellbeing of our Atlanta community.
