Who Am I? It is almost shocking that after 10 years of entering college, I am still not fully aware of that answer. The difference, however, between where I am now and where I was is that I am accepting of every flaw. I started college in the fall of 2008 and the road has not been easy. I have a beautiful nine year old daughter that as much as she depends on me, I depend on her. I have not made all of the right decisions, but one of my greatest decisions is going back to college. I understand that I am not the ideal candidate for "scholarships," but I am working hard towards a better future for myself and my daughter. I will not be left as a statistic and most importantly I will show other young girls that making mistakes is inevitable, but staying defeated is not.
