Joseph Potapenko's Album: Project: Moses out of Clay

This is a project that I have been working on for more than half a year now. Its based on the first image which is Gustav Dore's Moses. Its been a long process and I'm still not fully finished, but I decided to create this album, and then finish it as I finish the project itself. The project is around two feet tall, and I plan to pour a mold of it and make a few replicas once it is finished. I would like to thank my teacher Yevgeniy Taranov for his help in learning about art for the past 5 years, and his help in this project as well. God bless.

So, this is almost where I am now. I cannot keep up this picture log, because I am forming walls around the main figure to make a rubber mold. I am still trying to fix up the face, hand, and bushes in the meanwhile. The corona virus has slowed progress, but I do plan to continue. Winning the scholarship will allow me to purchase rubber and gypsum cement to make both a mold, and multiple replicas of this project.
