In high school I was involved in many sports. From cross country and track to soccer and volleyball. However, my passion was always soccer. I started playing soccer when I was only 6 years old. I played competitively through most of middle and high school. Even now in college, I continue to play recreationally because of my love for the game. I also play recreational volleyball in college, I'm not very good but I really enjoy it.

Additional Info
As a waitress, I very quickly picked time management skills and greatly improved my interpersonal communication. Both of these are awesome attributes that I have been able to utilize in college and will carry with me for years to come. I loved my job and I am so grateful for all the skills it taught me.
As an academic peer mentor for the college of science at Texas A&M, I was able to help freshmen through their first year at A&M. I really enjoyed this job and getting to give my students any advice I could to help them out, both academic and not.
Lastly, as a student nurse aide at Texas A&M's on campus clinic I administer EKGs, take patient's history, take vitals, and all other sorts of tasks that will hopefully prepare me to become a physician assistant in the future.

Selfless service is both one of A&M's core values, and one of my own. I could go on and on about the wonderful opportunities I have been given to make an impact in the lives of those around me and the manner in which those lives have grown my passion and heart for others. I find joy in serving and I am so grateful to have been in an organization at A&M that gave me so many opportunities to do just that.
