I’ve been voted and chosen as my team’s MVP player for four years, I’ve been awarded Seminole County Girl’s Bowler of the Year twice with the highest average and highest series. My team and I won the FHSAA Bowling State Championships my freshman and sophomore year back-to-back undefeated. Most recently, I won states both individually and in teams while being undefeated in both, not having lost a single match and averaging over 220. In also the first girl in FHSAA history to have won a team and individual title in the same year. Further, I’ve been chosen as Florida’s Dairy Farmers Girl Bowler of the Year, “Miss Bowling” and will go on to have one another Girls Bowler of the Year award. I’ve obtained the highest average in my county this season and will have been on First Team All-Conference for all four years of my high school bowling career. I’ve also placed first in multiple tournaments including the City tournament and placing 2nd in Florida’s Pepsi Tournament. I’ve also made the 2018-2019 All-City girls team by obtaining a high average and winning the City tournament in the 2018 season. I also won individually at bowling districts this season and led my team to our 3rd win at the annual Kegel High School Challenge, coming in 2nd individually my sophomore year.
Additional Info
I’ve been bowling for nine years and I started while I was in elementary school running cross country, track and I soon got into volleyball in middle school. As I started becoming more competitive, I quit my other sports to become a full-time bowler and student. Going into my freshman year of high school, I got rear-ended as a passenger and the seatbelt didn’t lock. I ended up with five herniated discs, three in my lower back and two in my neck. I thought my bowling career was over, but I didn’t let the pain stop me from doing what I love the most, so I continued bowling in high school and now I’ll be going onto college bowling and hopefully the PWBA.
