History
o Walk to End Alzheimer:
Responsible for creating awareness of the disease and the Alzheimer's Association through the promotion of Walk to End Alzheimer's.
o Florida Department of Environmental Protection:
Contribute to the success of beach cleanups that are essential to keep our beaches and coastline clean.
o Walk to End Childhood Cancer by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital:
Collectively raise more than $1,000 for the event's efforts.
o The Women's Breast & Heart Initiative:
Door to door outreach campaign to provide breast and heart health educational packages, while make appointments for breast and heart screenings.
o On P.A.R. with Cancer:
The project's first major component consisted of six cancer awareness workshops, directed by different cancer specialists. My involvement led the chapter to organize over 100 runners involved, while also safely collecting over $1,000 dollars during the event.
o Mack Cycle
Help organizing the event through helping competitors register and get their starting package for the triathlon.
o Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival:
Help with the organization and preservation of the areas that kids were able to use for their enjoyment for the seasonal celebrations. This allowed me to draw smiles on their face by aiding with games, painting spaces, and pumpkin construction.
o VEX IQ Challenge Robotics Competition:
Judging Engineering Notebooks from 30 different robotic teams. In addition, I also assisted in interviewing members of those teams and select teams around the county for specific awards.
