Poll Worker-2018 midterms During the 2018 midterms I volunteered as a poll worker. While at my designated location, I checked people in and verified their information so their vote would be made sure to count.
Oak View Festival-2017/2018 Through my church, I was able to be a part of a festival for the less fortunate children of my community in which the volunteers gave the kids prizes as well as school supplies that they would otherwise not be able to afford.
Refugee Art Program(Little Brushstrokes)-Since 2017 This program is a once-monthly gathering that was funded upon realizing that the community of refugee children needs an outlet where they are able to connect with their peers through painting.
OCCORD Citizenship Fair- 2017 I volunteered at a citizenship fair to help mostly Spanish speaking immigrants go through the process of obtaining their citizenship.
