Community Service
History
• I have been training service dogs for Canine Companions for Independence for almost 6 years. I am a volunteer puppy raiser and have raised 6 dogs with 5 passing and 1 still in advanced training.
• During January and February of 2015 I lived in Ecuador, serving with a ministry called Inca Link. I spent the majority of those two months volunteering at their home for teenage mothers and the rest of my time helping with an after school program for at-risk kids.
• During my summers I have gone on mission trips to Atlanta, San Diego, and India. This summer I will be in Vancouver, Canada. I serve in each place for ten days with my church.
• Once a month I dedicate my Sundays to volunteering in our Church nursery, taking care of the kids so that their parents can enjoy their Sunday morning.
