In my four years at Alhambra High School, I've joined various clubs such as:
The Vietnamese Student Association (VSA); this club helped spread Vietnamese culture on campus and educate students on ethnicity.
LEO Service Club; this club allows students to go on a wide variety of services around our community. We've helped food banks, runs, homeless shelters, and even events like Maxt Out the Dance Competition.
Alhambra All Male Dance Team; this is a club of about 15 to 19 guys who practice to compete as well as perform for school events. It is associated with the Alhambra Dance Team which is comprised of girls. We compete for Alhambra and have won numerous awards and titles under the Alhambra name.
Associated Student Body (ASB); I was apart of the Tech branch to the student body. I worked with all of our videos, computers, and sound equipment for every event that our school hosts.

Community Service
History
Volunteering at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank made me realize the number of homeless people populating the entire Los Angeles area. I knew that I was helping to change the lives of those in need and those who struggled to find their next meal. Having the opportunity to restock the pantries and serve food to the hungry, could be the motivation that the person needed to continue their day or complete that task they have been wanting to complete such as finding a job. I understand how important it is for people to have access to these resources. Therefore, there should be more food banks and homeless shelters built to decrease the number of people living on the streets. These centers will give people an opportunity to get their lives back on track and another chance at success.
