Education History
Always have been in gifted/AP/CP programs. This year has taken a hit because of hospitalization and mass trauma, deepest apologizes. I can provide evidence I am still as capable as before if needed, my brain and skill hasn't changed because of emotions and situations.
Awards
• A/B honor roll most of elementary. The only reason I did not get it the years that I didn't was a 'behavioral grade' which was heavily biased as i was dealing with abuse in my home which led to me 'moving too much' and 'too emotional' on their swayed reports.
• In 5th grade I received 'largest amount of words read all year' during a funded (and highly exciting to the children) event to encourage reading in young children.
• I received many metals as a child (elementary) for exemplary reading skill, and 'good citizenship'.
•Honor roll all of middle school, sans a year (8th) mainly due to living conditions.
• Inducted into National Juniors Honor Society (NJHS) in 8th grade.
Additional Info
I'm unaware if this will matter, but I need to state it incase of accommodations. I am diagnosed severe PTSD. I will become immobilized in certain situations, and totally unresponsive and nonverbal to anything but touch----which will make it worse. there may be a point where I will need to get a service dog if it continues to worsen like it is currently. If this for some reason is a problem, feel free to contact me.
History
Church food drives as a child. Church nursery assistant on request. Collecting schools supplies for kids who need them but are unable to obtain them. I do not know if this counts but I heavily encouraged the other kids in my class to recycle their papers at the end of the year, collecting it all myself to take down to the recycling room because I couldn't stand the thought of littering or more carbon footprints.
